Medina Community & Homes For Sale

medina01.jpgIf you would like to be close to a metropolitan area, but far enough away so you're not in the heart of all the action, then Medina is the perfect location for you to consider. Located about 10 minutes northeast of Jackson, Tennessee and is considered one of the area's best-kept secrets. Medina offers residents an amazing atmosphere for families in an incredibly growing community.

Medina is a smaller town of about 3,000, but over that past couple of years, has experienced a "growth boom" like never before. Medina has caught the attention of those looking to enjoy living where the opportunities continue to grow; Medina is a great place to live!

Growth is everywhere in Medina. New subdivisions in Medina seem to be always in planning or under construction, with most homes ranging from $120,000 and up. Additionally, Medina is experiencing a commercial business construction boom. With a wedding chapel and wedding parlor (both housed in restored vintage buildings) and several churches, Medina is fast becoming the "wedding capital" of Gibson County. The town is primed for growth in the retail and service industries.

Residents in Medina are enjoying increasing developments in recreational areas. Organized youth sports leagues are extremely popular in Medina and numerous playgrounds, ball fields, football fields, soccer fields, and more. To compensate for the recent growth in Medina’s population and the popularity of sporting activities, the city has recently constructed an additional recreational facility that includes a baseball/softball complex, walking track, pavilion and playground area on the over 30 acres the city purchased.
